Wink Slideloaf wrote: This was my first Bruce show. We smuggled in a wine skin with Boone's Farm. This show seemed to go on forever- but that is not a bad thing. I remember it as a very high energy show, and the last of the tour. I think it had been rescheduled from earlier in the summer. When they returned for the encore, the Cincinnati police came out and handcuffed Bruce. This was shortly after the deaths at The Who concert and security was very tight. The crowd was shocked, the cops said it was past curfew and led Bruce off stage. When they got to the side, Bruce "escaped" from the cuffs and the band tore into "Born To Run." Amazing show, I had never been to a concert like this and was the first of many.

Tommy wrote: I was there. "Mony Mony" was played during the encores as well.

Joe M wrote: An earlier date was cancelled in Cincinnati and this was a make up date at the end of the tour. Somehow our two tickets for the earlier show were upgraded to floor seats in the seventeenth row for the makeup show. My date was 5'2" so much of show was spent standing on the folding chairs. Proud Mary was memorable as Clarence sang "Rolling", with his deep voice, much like Ike Turner.
