John Ward wrote: This was a very good show, one of the better shows to play DC in recent years. The crowd was fairly sedate early on, especially during the Outlaw Pete opener, but things picked up quickly. Bruce followed the album with four straight sign requests, turning the rare "Stand On It" and the normally-an-encore "Seven Nights to Rock" into a rave-up medley mid-show. "Pink Cadillac" was requested on two signs, one of which referenced a comment Bruce made at his Seeger Sessions stop in Virginia three years ago: "if Mama ain't happy, ain't NOBODY happy!" To which Bruce replied, "How true!"
The encore was particularly strong, although "American Land" is getting a little stale. "Higher and Higher" was a nice surprise follow-up to "Rosalita," and a number of folks in my section commented that it was the best song of the night.

Dream Out Loud wrote: Another great show. I was at the Richmond show last year so apparently he now plays Stand On It every time I go to see him. The show was oddly short though, ending at 11pm. I was expecting another 20-30 minutes. Nevertheless, a great show.
